Will this week's entry be as interesting as last week's? Doubt it, but I'll give it the ol' college try.
Speaking of, what the heck is "the ol' college try"? Did I not have enough oomph in high school? (obvious answer: yes. Moving on...) I just don't get that phrase.
The word you are looking for is "Anyway..."
So I totally have this plague thing that's been going around where I sub. Thanks, kiddos! According to the school nurse (who rocks for letting me almost hork in her office yesterday), you feel sick to your stomach but don't actually get sick and there's no fever. Well, yippie kie yay. On Sunday, I felt all "Omigosh, I'm gonna hurl!" at work and it popped up again yesterday, only I almost did. And at school to boot. Fantastic. So I stayed home from Job Number 2 and napped for 5 hours.
Can I just say that I have a fantastic boyfriend? I left him a voicemail saying something along the lines of, "Baaaaaaaabe, I'm siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick!" So he came home with two family-size cans of chicken noodle soup for dinner, as Mom C has the nasal version of whatever this plague is. All we had to do was add crackers to taste and we were good to go.
::listens to the collective awww::
On a boring note, I did get this rathole cleaned up and organized. I just have some laundry to condend with (a running theme at this diary; I smell inspiration for my next layout already). Here's to hoping I stay on top of everything!
(Yes, me, not MB. Domestic he's not. Don't even get me started on his lack of domesticity, which is limited to taking a fast swipe at the dishes and laundry. If I wanted to disgust myself, I'd describe how his stove looked right before he moved out of his apartment last year.)
Anywho, Mom C is home today, so I feel obligated to pay attention to her. Nevermind I haven't played with my zoo in almost a week.
Searching for strength and maturity (it's around here somewhere),
Thanks for reading,
Ter
