Okay, so I'm not at home... yet. I will be in approximately 8 hours. I leave for L and D's house in about 4 hours, which will give me plenty of time to update this silly diary and pack and figure out a way for MB to not see the giant present that I brought inside when I got home today.

But first, rewind... we have a new puppy! He's 7 weeks old today and we named him Baron Balian (yes, Balian as in Kingdom of Heaven Balian, as in Orlando Bloom ::drool:: played him Balian. I can't believe I got MB and Mom C to go along with that). He's a little mite and cute as a button! We picked Balian up on Saturday. I'll miss him the 4 days I'm gone.

You'll have to pardon this layout. Until I can get 5 seconds to myself to design something, a template will have to do.

I have been subbing in the same classroom for 2 weeks and boy am I glad for a break! Today was my last day and, bless them, my little spitball throwers paid heed to the threat I put before the five little offenders: "I have notified the office that if I so much as hear a piece of paper rip, they are to expect you. Got it?" In the last two weeks I've watched Mrs. Doubtfire, Matilda twice, Hook, The Polar Express three times, and The Incredibles twice. Needless to say, it will be a while before I see any of those movies again.

It will be great to see my family on Sunday. I miss my crew! I really would like MB to be with me, but Mom C is being unreasonably stupid about having MB all to herself. That's definitely going to be the deal breaker should MB and I decide to get married. It's like we'll need a custody deal or something; she can have him on Thanksgiving and I'll get him on Christmas and the next year we'll switch. I don't know. On this point he really needs to stand up to his mother and stop being a mama's boy. But we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

I suppose I should go pay attention to Balian. I have a feeling he's sleeping, but with a 7-week-old puppy, who knows!

Merry Christmas to all!

Thanks for reading,

Ter
