I have exactly one hour before I have to go sit in a nearly empty mall and babysit a cash register. Let me tell ya, I think having my ass waxed might be a little more entertaining. I think I'll call MB on my way and have him stop by like I did earlier this week when I stepped in for someone else. At least I'll have my favorite radio station to listen to.
I have a Pip on my lap. Pip, as in Pippi, our kitten. She's too cute for words. She looks at you over her shoulder or tips her head back. When you say, "Pip-pip!" she looks at you. Everyone should have a Pippin.
The new Harry Potter movie is out today and even though I get off work at 9:30 I'm making MB take me to see it. I'm the devil!
I've had only one day to sit and do nothing this week. Tuesday I subbed as an elementary school aide, only because it was a half day and it was as an aide. The stupid school messed up and somehow thought "certified 7-12 English" meant "elementary aide". Yeah, because that's the same. I closed the costume shop on Wednesday (boooooooring!). Yesterday was a half-day sub in the morning and today was all day, same teacher. I loved it! I was in for a reading teacher and now I think I'd like to get a second Masters in reading. Or at least do a lot of professional development in that area. I have renewed excitement, and that's all that matters.
Next Friday's entry will be pre-empted due to Thanksgiving. It will be celebrated here with MB's family, a first for me, then Friday MB and I are heading up to my parents' for fun, fun, fun till Daddy takes the T-bird away. I might update before I leave, but I might when I get back. We'll see.
