So yeah. Hi! Lovely entry last week, eh? Let's try to be a little happier.

(click an image to enlarge)

The highlights (minus John Bowman; his set bit the big one, even though I'm still laughing at "I'm a Ford truck man!") of Stephen Lynch (with Rod Cone) and Lewis Black (America's foremost commentator in EVERYTHING and fucking hilarious). Oh yeah:

My Lewis Black poster...

... Signed, oh yeah!

My Spring Fest poster... also signed!

"Tara -- Rock and/or roll! Stephen Lynch"

"Tara -- You rock! Rod Cone"

"For Tara... Lewis Black"

So yeah, that sums up last Friday pretty well :)

As for Placement #2, so far so good. I'm loving my new sponsor teacher, his kids are great, and I'm feeling 110% better about myself. It also helps that I passed my last certification test, so for all intents and purposes I'm certified now! All I'm waiting on is my application to be sent in and cleared by the state. Yay!

In a pseudo-April Fool's Day joke, my car decided to irk me. My key has a tendency to stick in the ignition occasionally, so when that happened this morning, I took the lock remote off the ring and went on with my day. When I got out to the lot after school, my car wouldn't start. I assumed it was because the key had been stuck between "on" and "lock" and therefore had drained the battery. So I called Daddy, who drove 40 minutes to help me out...

... only to find out that I had stupidly put my car in NEUTRAL and not PARK, thereby making the key stick in the lock.

In a strange twist of fate, Mom thought it was funny. Go Mom!

And now, back to watching MSNBC's full coverage of The Pope. Poor guy. I'm not religious by any stretch, even though I'm supposedly Catholic. This is a historic moment and I have no idea what to say except "poor guy". Don't I feel like an ass now.

P.S. 2 weeks till birthday!

Off to bed, to bed I said!

Thanks for reading,

Ter
