An entry?? On a THURSDAY??
Yes, and with good reason. I'm flying the coop tomorrow afternoon and plan on doing school work for most of the morning, so I'm getting this out of the way now so as not to pull a Me and not update till Monday or later like I have been doing for the last 2 months.
::breathe::
So, yeah, I'm going to MB's tomorrow. I'm yoinking the van as soon as Mom gets home from work (she has a new job now -- whee!). It'll be a quick trip, as I have class on Monday and need to get the van back so Mom can go to work. But it's all good. I can't wait to see my baby! Haven't seen him since he came up here to surprise me. I miss him!!
Meanwhile, that house we've been on the edges of our seats about??? IT'S OURS!!! She had till today (Thursday) to come to a decision about our offer; we heard from her on Tuesday. Daddy's just waiting on a survey to find out where the stake in the front is to mark off our land, but otherwise it's done, signed, sealed, delivered, I'm yours. Closing is on October 29th. I'm so excited!! We're finally getting a house we all love, in an area we agree is ten times better than where we're living now, and all before the snow flies (though it could snow tomorrow -- fickle weather in this damn state -- but I doubt it as it's been 80 everyday this week just about).
In other good news, my oldest nephew not only aced his road test and now has not only a license but a sweet little '91 Camry to scoot around in, but he got a job too!! I'm so proud!
And now to get my little behind to bed and figure out when SVU is on tonight.
