Independent Ter interrupts your regularly scheduled week with the following announcement:
So. My meeting. It went rather well. The Head of Student Conduct (HSC) is a very understanding and patient man. Bless him. He explained to me what could happen, my options, and the fact that my Renaissance prof. is a dillhole that will most likely give me a zero for the class (which I'm fine with*).
The final score: I'm on probation until next December, which means no more (unintentional) screw ups. I have to attend a plagarism workshop, brought to you by your friendly neighborhood Campus Writing Center (how embarrassing, since I'm an English student!). I also have to write a letter, which will appear in the campus paper (d'oh!) to the editor about plaigarism and its consequences. No big deal.
And now for some lunch and some Aleve, because I'm hungry and this weather is making my head feel like there's a little gnome inside my head blowing up a balloon and it's trying to escape via my ears.
* However, I need this class because it's a pre-requisite for my MST. And that is why God made other colleges
Relieved,
Thanks for reading,
Ter
