Yar.

I have abused that word more times than I care to count. But it seems to sum up nicely how I'm feeling this morning (it is still morning, right?). I've been trying to detox the Amp out of my system (3 tall boys in just about 24 hours, yeesh!). I haven't had coffee in at least three days. I've been drinking uncaffinated soda. Spacey is a good way to describe me, not to mention I'd lovelovelove to go back to bed right now.

MB and I went bowling last night with one of his (not so) new (anymore) co-workers and his wife. MB and I went bowling once when we first met. Prior to that, my only bowling experience was in high school gym class. It was fun, I even freaked out the computer keeping our scores when I got a strike. I think it was surprised I was capable of such an amazing feat. I think that was my second or third non-consecutive one of the night, which is why it freaked out. We then played a couple games of pool in which MB and I got our butts handed to us. My apologies to MB, since I have a feeling I will perpetually suck at pool and all its variations.

We've been invited (again) to a pub crawl in the city tomorrow in celebration of Publicly Sanctioned Drinking Day. For the last few years we've had bad luck (ironically) keeping us from attending the pub crawl. Weather was to blame one year and poor planning the other times (I think). Hopefully this year won't be a total bust. Thankfully I don't have to work this coming week so I can recover properly. Poor MB has to keep on truckin', as it were.

Speaking of whom, I need to run some eggs and his bowling ball over to his work before noon. That sounds weird. The chickens are starting to lay more often now that they're not turning into popscicles (two died when it got really cold a few months ago) and one of MB's co-workers put in an egg order. The bowling last night was a prelude to MB's office deciding to take a half day and go bowling this afternoon. Sounds like good times. I'll be making some poorly justified purchases and watching People's Court all afternoon.

Or EQII'ing. That's probably more accurate.

Long neck's down!

Thanks for reading,

Ter
